A Brief Overview
Directs and supervises all clinic activities through clinic management, clinical and administrative support staff. Responsible for the functions of physician relations, strategic planning, development of clinic goals, budget, materials management; development, administration and compliance policies, procedures, and protocols; regulatory compliance; performance improvement; certification and accreditation; and staff/patient education. Responsible for coordinating a level of communication between nursing staff, physicians, administrative staff and all other clinic departments to create a positive outcome for clinic associates and patients.
What you will do
Provides leadership in the conception, planning, development and implementation of the clinic business plan to leadership.
Recommends, develops and updates strategic long and short-range plans to support clinic philosophies and goals.
Oversees the business and financial affairs of the clinic and fiscal management.
Projects future needs for service, space, equipment, material, revenue and staff.
Provides leadership and direction for the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Resolves problems related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment and supplies.
Develops, implements, and reviews clinic operating policies and procedures in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organization and the requirement of outside regulatory agencies.
Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies.
Initiates changes as appropriate.
Develops and administers a staffing plan that will allow the clinic to operate in an efficient, cost effective manner. Responsible for insuring the orientation, training and the evaluation of employees working within the clinic.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Bachelor's
Healthcare Management
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Master's
