This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Competitive Service Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Responsibilities Applies supply planning expertise to balance supply to meet forecasted demand by generating secondary item supply action recommendations. Plans, develops, implements, and manages effective and affordable product supply support strategies throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems, as addressed in applicable policy/regulatory guidance. Reviews Material Requirements Planning (MRP) inputs and coordinates with the authoritative source of these inputs. Evaluates and synthesizes analysis provided to resolve complex supply planning issues involving processes, work methods, supply data management, and day-to-day operational procedures for assigned secondary items. Ensures the command's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products. Develops plans, policies, and procedures and exercises overall team leadership for supply chain-related matters. Works collaboratively with other organizations to address program operations and ensure user needs and planning assumptions are incorporated into program activities. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02) 1) Providing supply chain support within a Enterprise Resource Planning system. 2)Interpreting guidance to take appropriate action. 3) Presenting information to stakeholders. 4)Utilizing supply chain management processes to support a program..
