Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This announcement uses the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command has various incentives that may be available for highly qualified candidates. This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled under any of the following titles and occupational series, depending on the qualifications of the applicant and needs of management: General Engineer, 0801 Materials Engineer, 0806 Mechanical Engineer, 0830 Electrical Engineer, 0850 Computer Engineer, 0854 Chemical Engineer, 0893 Physical Scientist, 1301 Operations Research Analyst, 1515 Mathematician, 1520 Computer Scientist, 1550 This is a developmental position which may be filled at the GS-07, GS-09, GS-11 or GS-12 grade level, with the target grade level at GS-12. Promotion potential to the target grade requires meeting time-in-grade requirements, performing required duties, and obtaining supervisory approval. Once you reach full performance GS-12, you will be converted to DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) NH-03 broadband.
