Actalent Sharepoint Developer in Aberdeen, Maryland

Job Title: SharePoint DeveloperJob Description

We are looking for a skilled SharePoint Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining SharePoint sites, creating web parts, and implementing workflow forms. You will play a key role in designing solutions to improve business processes, troubleshooting issues, and training users on SharePoint functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Intranet Portal Collaboration Intranet Sites with consistent product branding.

  • Build new landing pages and department templates/pages per client guidance.

  • Implement, deploy, package, improve, and maintain new intranet portal sites and SharePoint sites.

  • Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, site and user permissions, and data management.

  • Build workflow forms using SharePoint Designer, PowerApps, and Flows.

  • Design solutions to complex business processes to enhance performance, collaboration, and overall quality of operations.

  • Identify and troubleshoot problems, document deficiencies, research and evaluate fixes related to the client-facing side of SharePoint.

  • Evaluate new and existing products in SharePoint instances to meet evolving customer requirements and develop recommendations.

  • Train users on deployed SharePoint features and functionalities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online (365)

  • Experience with workflows, PowerApps, and UI/UX

  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience

  • BS Degree

  • Active TS clearance with favorable eligibility for SCI and ability to obtain SCI

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with DoD5000

Work Environment

You will be working in an office building a couple of miles off base at APG in Aberdeen, with a satellite office/SCIF in Hanover, MD. A hybrid remote schedule of 2 days remote per week is offered, unless on-site presence is required for meetings. Occasional on-site visits to the base and meetings with the Army customer may be necessary. There might be travel to different sites including NOVA, South, Midwest, etc. The role supports the PM Space and Cyber program under the Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C) Program.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72.11 - $96.15
