Job Description : The Director of Capture Operations & Growth will be critical in driving growth for Nexagen within the U.S. Army, Aberdeen Proving Ground customer space. This role demands a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and an in-depth understanding of the Army’s procurement processes and requirements. You will be responsible for leading the development of a comprehensive strategy to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. This role involves building key relationships, understanding the Army mission and priorities, and developing a business growth plan to align with company goals and objectives. Position Responsibilities: Manage distinct U.S. Army customer/business areas and existing relationships within PEO C3T, PEO IEW&S, PEO EIS, etc. (Mission Command & Fire Control). Forecast and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and build a customer portfolio to effect monetary and personnel growth within the company. Lead Capture efforts to secure new contracts. Lead Proposal development including managing process, writing technical content for proposal responses, and working with the pricing team to develop and deliver compelling and compliant proposals. Develop strategies including win themes; management solution; technical solution; teaming; pricing and assess competition and present decision gate briefings to management. Develop and maintain strong relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships. Willing and able to travel as required. Qualifications: Proven work experience in Capture Management and proposal writing. Established understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting. Experience working with Department of Defense and Federal Agencies. Ability to complete work within given deadlines with little supervision. Ability to carry out skillful negotiations. Strong communication, analytical and financial skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Active security clearance or ability to obtain a one. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum of 5 years of capture management experience as a Prime Government Contractor supporting U.S. Army programs/contracts. Prior military experience preferred. PMP Certification a Plus Prior experience working with Government acquisition personnel and organizations preferred. Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills; planning, organization, and time management. Understanding of Cloud, DevSecOps, Software Development, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
