Job Opportunity:

Forms an integral part of the team involved with the work scopes of SPM Oil & Gas working under the direction of the Service Delivery Team Leader.

Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner in line with SPM Oil & Gas Safety, Quality, Environmental, Operational Procedures and LEAN principles

What you will do

  • All tasks are to be carried out to SPM HSE policies, procedures and lean principles.

  • Report any accident, near miss or environmental issue to your Supervisor immediately.

  • SPM Work Instructions/SOPS are to be followed at all times.

  • Carry out all duties of an Iron Technician Trainee.

  • Strip down, service, repair and inspection of general flowline equipment, Plug Valves, Swivels and Check Valves.

  • Carry out Gauge, MPI and wall thickness inspection of all equipment to SPM or Customer standards.

  • Complete rental loadouts from Iron Request Forms.

  • Recording of serial numbers and scheduling of inspections within Asset Management Program (AMP).

  • Use of SPM RFID system to check-in and identify assets.

  • Always maintain a high level of housekeeping within workshop cells.

  • Prioritise tasks to meet internal and external customer needs.

  • Complete Forklift, Gantry Crane and Abrasive Wheels training.

  • Any other duties as required by your Supervisor.

  • You may be required to work offsite in the UK and overseas.
