About the Role:
This is a 0.9 FTE night-shift position scheduled for three-12 hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You'll also be included in our holiday rotation and standby call rotation, providing a fair and equitable experience for all team members, including you.
As a Radiology Technologist, you'll prepare for and perform standard x-ray examinations, portable examinations, and may perform fluoroscopic procedures and surgical x-ray procedures. You'll utilize proper positioning and selection of appropriate technical factors using various radiographic equipment to obtain optimal results. Your expertise will help healthcare providers make informed decisions about patient care. You'll work closely with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, supply, and equip exam room to meet the needs of requested examinations and to meet specific physician requirements for procedures.
Integrates previous imaging studies, laboratory results, patient history and medical records to optimize exam.
Perform most appropriate examination based on patient information through consultation with interpreting physician and/or ordering physician as necessary.
Provides patient education and instruction prior to and after examination. Provide training/education to staff and students as indicated.
Performs x-ray examinations applying appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures.
Applies ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self patient, and visitor. Evaluates patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.
May perform surgical x-ray examinations, will utilize appropriate radiation safety measures and adhering to AORN standards.
Qualifications:
Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
ARRT-R certification
Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist license.
BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
