Description

Arms Acres is looking for highly motivated Addiction Milieu Counselor to join our team in Carmel, NY. The Addiction Technician functions under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, Clinical Manager and/or Program Director. In this role, you will establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients' visitors and other facility personnel while assuring confidentiality of patient information. The appropriate candidate will observe patient's behavior and record observation either in chart and/or communication log, reports and follows direction of immediate supervisor in the event of crisis or emergency situation. This position participates in conducting room checks in all patient rooms as required throughout shift and document(s) appropriately.

Shifts available:Tuesday- Saturday 12am- 8:30am Friday & Saturday 12am-8:30am, Sunday & Monday 12am-8:30am.Full time, Part time, and Per Diem Opportunities!!Eligible for Shift and Weekend Differential.

Sign on Bonus: Full time and part time candidates are eligible for a sign on bonus up to $2,000

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of 1 year experience in human services or healthcare field, with direct patient care experience and knowledge and understanding of alcoholism and addiction is preferred.
