Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace business exists in 20 countries with a vision to offer customers Earth’s largest selection. CN New Seller Recruit (NSR) team aim to deliver on this vision by explore, inspire and empower quality CN new Sellers to launch and success on Amazon global marketplaces, with friction-free Seller experiences.

[Key Job Responsibilities]

Senior business program manager will be responsible for driving programs related to New Seller success at Merchandising and Key events domain. This role requires program management mindset and capability - most critically Invent and Simplify.

You will work with internal sales teams, and derive initiatives for Seller experience improvement across merchandising, product promotion, ads adoption during key events and regular times. Your will perform deep dives to derive analytical insights, and share data driven insights to discuss & influence stakeholders, including but not limited to China sales teams, PMO team, Marketplace partners, and global central functions.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross functional, cross cultural and fast-paced environment; has persistent learning appetite, superb analytical capability, strong inter-personal & communication skills, along with an intense customer obsession and ownership. You will be expected to be innovative, yet frugal, and strong in delivering result.

A day in the life

There is no typical day as program manager. You could start the day with an early meeting debating with global counterparts, or brainstorming session on a critical issue surfaced during biz review, or self-studying latest industry trends you are interested in, or fire-fighting an urgent escalation.

The topics you encounter are seldom repetitive, and most likely they are across a broad range of data analytics, program plan, to deal execution and opportunity optimization. In Amazon, it’s always Day 1!

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
