Key job responsibilities

  • Gather and synthesize key requirements from leading automotive industry clients for specific use cases. Identify and scope common requirements that can address the needs of most customers within the industry for these use cases, guiding the development and engagement of automotive industry assets.

  • Define and manage the feature requirements for automotive industry assets. This includes drafting Asset Requirement Documents (ARDs) and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

  • Create and maintain feature roadmaps that align with STO, IS, ISA, automotive industry customer needs, and overall business objectives.

  • Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and partners to facilitate enablement, collect feedback, and ensure successful asset delivery.

  • Leverage data analytics and customer insights to prioritize feature development and provide informed recommendations for asset-related decisions.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define and implement features that enhance user experience and drive growth.

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of industry assets, including both in-house build assets and partner assets.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for automotive industry assets releases. This involves preparing test cases, managing the testing process, compiling test reports, and prioritizing identified issues for inclusion in asset and sprint backlogs for iterative releases.

  • Continuously monitor asset feature performance and refine strategies based on key metrics and sales motion feedback.

  • 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience

A day in the life

An Industry Solution Manager (ISM) understands industry requirements, AWS industry solution assets building process, and has project management experience. ISM can communicate effectively with the technical team; has strong document organization and writing skills. ISM is the Asset Requirement Document (ARD) Owner. ISM would take the Product Owner role in the agile Industry Solution Assets building process. Besides, ISM would oversee a diverse portfolio of industry assets, including both in-house builder assets and partner assets.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
