Amazon Sr. Product Manager, Consumer Payments in 13, Japan
Description
Interested in an opportunity to move fast and make a big impact? JP Consumer Payments team is looking for a talented Sr. Product Manager to build products that are fundamental to the fast growth of the business.
Our mission is to build a suite of all payment-related products such as Gift Card, Credit Card and providing variety of payment method and xperiences that millions of customers love to use every day in Japan.
The Product Manager will work closely with the tech team to champion product ideas from ideation and planning to execution to build a scalable amazon payment experiences. The right candidate possesses a strong product / tech program management background, a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in Japan and demonstrated experience leading large projects.
You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity. This means you are not only able to own high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. You will have good executive presence and excellent verbal/ written communication.
Key job responsibilities
Product development, including creating and managing a product roadmap, analyzing customer behavior, conducting customer research and tests, and developing new product features and services that deliver bar-raising customer experiences.
Project management, including creating business justifications and functional requirements for product features and services.
Business management, including creating business strategy and managing program metrics.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Strong analytical skill
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience as a product manager or owner
Business level in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
MBA
Business level in Japanese
