Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. Building Automation Engineering Intern in 101 Edgewood Avenue, Virginia

Job Summary: The Building Automation Engineering Internship position serves as an essential part of the day-to-day operations of our Building Automations team. The goal for the internship is for the intern to gain valuable real-world work experience in their desired career path, while giving Moore's additional support within operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with all processes of BAS system setup including design and programming

  • Support field operations with any technical issues that arise

  • Visit job sites when required to test/troubleshoot any issues

  • Team building with BAS team and other interns

  • Prepare presentation for Leadership at the completion of the internship

    Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset

  • Desire to learn and grow

  • Transportation and ability to commute to the Altavista Offices and our job sites

  • Great sense of humor
