Insight Global Mammography Technologist in Washington, District Of Columbia
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a mammography technologist to join a large hospital system in Washington, DC. As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform mammography procedures and assist with needle biopsies, localizations, and aspirations. As well as perform Breast imaging studies to include mammography procedures and assists with needle biopsies, localizations and aspirations and may be required to perform breast imaging examinations in the department and ancillary areas. Follow and adhere to the policies and procedures that apply to the performance of obtaining breast imaging studies, including performing correct, exam, including laterality, on correct patient at the time requested and ensures that radiation safety precautions are taken.
Shift: M-F 8-430pm or 830-5pm

Skills and Requirements
ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)- should be certified by ARRT for advanced certification in mammography within one year from date of hire.
BLS (Basic Life Support).
1 year of mammography-based experience preferred. null
