Description We are offering an opportunity for a Tax Preparer to join our team in a CPA firm located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role primarily involves preparing tax returns, working with various accounting software systems, and maintaining accurate financial records. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses accurately and efficiently
• Utilize a range of accounting software systems including Drake Tax Software, Intuit ProSeries, and Lacerte Tax Software
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Handle customer inquiries related to tax preparation and provide excellent customer service
• Manage deductible expenses and expense reporting processes
• Ensure all documentation is correctly filed and easily accessible
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Continually update skills and knowledge in the field of tax preparation and accounting software systems. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential for effective performance in this role.
• Familiarity with Drake Tax Software is required for efficient tax preparation.
• Knowledge of Intuit ProSeries will be beneficial for this position.
• Prior experience with Lacerte Tax Software will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data management and analysis.
• Strong customer service skills are essential to ensure client satisfaction.
• Understanding of deductible expenses and their impact on tax calculations is necessary.
• Documentation skills are required to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Knowledge of expense reporting is important to ensure accurate financial accounting.
• Familiarity with maintaining and reviewing financial records is necessary for this role.
