ManpowerGroup Manufacturing / Welding Engineer in Tulsa, Oklahoma

An industrial equipment manufacturer in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Welding, Metallurgy team supporting production, continuous improvement, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have welding experience, an engineering to order background, and a bachelors degree which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Tulsa, OK

What’s the Job?

Develops and evaluates manufacturing methods to eliminate waste, improve safety, enhance performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Provides support in resolving technical problems.

• Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements & workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

• Responsible for planning and design of fixturing and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.

• Project manager for capital projects. Coordinate with contractors and internal workforce to oversee the project through completion.

• Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arranges for purchase of equipment, materials or parts and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.

• Responsible for generating capital justifications, including ROI percent calculations and Rate of Return.

What’s Needed?

4 year BS Degree in a related field

Engineering Degree is preferred

In lieu of degree, candidates must have at least 10 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering

Welding Experience / Metallurgy Experience
