Today, we are managing two cobrand products with Singapore Airlines and CapitaMall, in addition to our suite of global products. Job Description:

  1. Position Summary

This position is responsible for all consumer card acquisitions.

Key focus areas are:

  • Formulating strategies and tactics for enhanced targeting.

  • Improving performance of target and dialogue channels.

  • Develop winning framework to grow acquisition/enhance engagement.

  • Play the role as the second most senior leader in the organization.

  1. Principal Accountabilities

    • Develop business plans and formulate Acquisition strategies and tactics to grow the business and achieve acquisition targets via multiple channels of acquisitions (Direct Marketing, Interactive, Internal Acquisition, Telemarketing, Outdoor Marketing & Sales, Centurion Relationship Management).

    • Develop digital / innovation channels and capabilities.

    • People Leadership and Development - Lead Change and Drive a Growth Mindset Culture through the ICS organisations Assist direct reports in the day to day management of their goals and support skill development by providing problem resolution and strategic leadership; - Build high performance acquisition teams by providing clear direction and motivation; - Lead 94 person team including large telemarketing and face-to-face sales force.

    • Stakeholder management including Central Teams, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, GCO, Ops Excellence, and GNA to ensure compliant with processes and improvement in efficacies.

  2. Breadth of Responsibility

    • This position is responsible for leading over 90 employees in the entire Acquisition organization.

    • Manages total Acquisition TUFI Investments.

    • Negotiates with potential partners for new card distribution agreements.

  3. Autonomy/Problem Solving & Decision Making Types of decisions made by this position on a regular basis –

    • Formulate and implement strategic business plan, budgeting, resourcing and priorities.

    • Senior level Partner contract negotiations.

    • Build and strengthen each Acquisition channel by providing leadership to develop strategies and breakdown barriers.

    • Mobilise and align key linkages and priorities to achieve business targets.

    • Provide guidance, coaching & feedback to a large Acquisition and Sales Team to achieve their respective acquisition targets.

    • Focus on employee development and identify high potentials for progression and retention; recruitment of good talent to meet business growth requirements. Types of decisions are referred to the next level

    • Request for unbudgeted resources

    • Purchase of card portfolios

    • Exceptional out of policy customer requests

    • Part of the stacking up hierarchy in all external engagement including card member engagement (complain cases) and partners management.

    • Provide guidance, coaching & feedback to a large Acquisition and Sales Team to achieve their respective acquisition targets.

    • Strong leadership skills and effective sales force management; ability to build high performance team.

    • Good understanding of the law of the land, practices and regulatory, and overall market environment e.g. digital, interactive innovations.

    • Experience in wide range of consumer financial products and services, with good background in Acquisition/Distribution Channel management.

    • Ability to source winning propositions from potential partners and create strong value propositions for partners.

    • Strong relationship/leadership skills especially in dealing with external partners.

    • Solid team player and ability to influence without authority.
