Nutanix Solutions team is responsible for creating Nutanix Validated Designs, Reference Architectures, Technical Notes, and Best Practices Guides in multiple disciplines like Hybrid Cloud, Cloud Native, AI/ML, Edge Computing, EUC, Database, SAP, Networking, and Security. The team attracts top talent and thought leaders from a wide range of disciplines and subject matter areas and forms a group of highly sought after experts that provide vision and leadership to speed sales outcomes, accelerate time-to-value for our customers, and improve our core products and services.

Core Responsibilities:

• Build labs and demo environments of emerging technologies focusing on areas or markets intowhich Nutanix wants to increase exposure

• Review and revise reference architectures and validated design documents, providing technicalinsight and commentary to improve the overall quality.

• Build enterprise scale customer test environments for emerging technologies and executefunctional, performance, and scale testing.

• Conduct market research to verify current scope of product coverage compared to new industrytrends and emerging technologies. Identify new opportunities for Solutions Engineering teams to build its strategy and capabilities.You will also get to use and develop these skills:

• Develop a broad perspective of the current and emerging technologies and use cases that largeenterprises and government organizations must leverage in order to achieve their business goals.

• Gain a better understanding of cloud-based computing models and how they are applied to solvereal-work business problems.

• Develop your understanding of the operational and security challenges imposed by large scalecomputing environments.The characteristics of a successful Solutions Engineering Intern are:Ability to understand highly complex technical concepts and apply them to practical use cases.

• Ability to write code to automate a wide range of operational activities using Python, Go, Javascript, Terraforms, or Ansible.

• Understanding of Cloud Computing concepts and the ability to apply them to real-world use cases.

• A passion for technology and an eagerness to explore and learn.

• Excellent written and verbal skills.As a Solution Engineering intern, you will focus on emerging technologies including:

• Hybrid Cloud

• Cloud Native

• AI/ML and Edge Computing
