- Operate a concrete mixer truck to transport ready-mix concrete from the plant to the construction site, ensuring timely delivery.
- Inspect the mixer truck before and after each trip, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition to maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
- Clean the mixer drum and chutes after each delivery to prevent concrete from hardening and to maintain the equipments condition and efficiency.
- Communicate with dispatch.
- Maneuver and position the mixer truck at the construction site to facilitate the direct pouring of concrete or to fill concrete pumps or buckets, ensuring minimal disruption to the site.
- Adjust the speed of the drum rotation to mix the concrete en route to the site or to prevent separation of ingredients, ensuring the delivery of quality product.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. (chutes, bags of material, etc.)
