Licensed Social Worker

\ YCCAC Head Start is more than a day care! We provide high-quality child care, comprehensive education, and health and well-being services to children 6 weeks to 5 years. As the Licensed Social Worker, you will improve the mental health, behavioral outcomes, and educational growth of children in the Head Start program. You will make a difference in your community as you bring positive changes in the life of our families!

Key Responsibilities:\ Coordinate Special Education Services to assure the needs of each child with disabilities are met, including their transition to Public Schools.\ Work collaboratively to ensure a wellness approach to mental health for children, families and staff.\ Supervise and guide the Special Education teacher.\ Support staff in creating a physical and cultural environment that promotes positive mental health and social and emotional functioning.\ Oversee IEP/IFSP implementation and attend IEP/IFSP/Transition meetings.

Qualifications:\ Must have a Bachelors Degree in Social Work.\ Must be a Licensed Social Worker, LCSW preferred, and will maintain the credential.\ Must have at least three years of management experience.\ Must have experience working as a Licensed Social Worker.
