Fund Accountant

San Francisco; Hybrid

$Base + Bonus + Unlimited PTO + Great Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Perform investment vehicle cash analysis and approve payables/expenditure workflow.

  • Consolidate and reconcile investment accounts monthly, including balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries.

  • Manage draw and paydown requests and oversee third-party accounting tasks.

  • Lead quarterly close processes and prepare financial statements and footnotes.

  • Prepare quarterly investor reports and maintain REITs, including distributions.

  • Manage partner capital accounts annually in Juniper Square.

  • Prepare financial packages for auditors and tax accountants, and respond to inquiries.

  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects with various teams and assist in acquisitions/dispositions analysis.

  • Engage in investor relations and interpret legal agreements.

  • Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, ensure a safe working environment, and exhibit professionalism in all duties.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

  • 2-4 years of experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, or financial services.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with preferred experience in MRI and Juniper Square.

  • Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and proactive with excellent decision-making abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive team environment.
