Fund Accountant
San Francisco; Hybrid
$Base + Bonus + Unlimited PTO + Great Benefits
Responsibilities:
Perform investment vehicle cash analysis and approve payables/expenditure workflow.
Consolidate and reconcile investment accounts monthly, including balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries.
Manage draw and paydown requests and oversee third-party accounting tasks.
Lead quarterly close processes and prepare financial statements and footnotes.
Prepare quarterly investor reports and maintain REITs, including distributions.
Manage partner capital accounts annually in Juniper Square.
Prepare financial packages for auditors and tax accountants, and respond to inquiries.
Collaborate on ad hoc projects with various teams and assist in acquisitions/dispositions analysis.
Engage in investor relations and interpret legal agreements.
Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, ensure a safe working environment, and exhibit professionalism in all duties.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
2-4 years of experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, or financial services.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with preferred experience in MRI and Juniper Square.
Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and proactive with excellent decision-making abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive team environment.
