Tech Electronics Warehouse and Customer Service Coordinator - in Saint Louis, Missouri

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Responsible for procurement of materials, product and repair parts, processes returns and advance replacements.
  • Expedites material deliveries based on customer expectations.
  • Responsible for serving internal and external customers and exceeding their expectations.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading, packing and unpacking, auditing, general housekeeping, kitting, inbound processing, scanning orders, shipping and receiving, put-a-way, data entry into computerized inventory control systems and inventory control.
  • Responsible for the proper storage and flow of material into and out of the Warehouse.
  • Performs inventory stock checks and cycle counting as required. Interfaces with the warehouse personnel to measure and ensure inventory accuracy. Informs Supervisor of any out of balance discrepancies.
  • Negotiates and processes returns, credits and advance replacements as needed.
  • Ensures that all defective material is repaired or discarded per company guidelines within timelines established by the Materials Control Manager.
  • Ensures accuracy of requested count and part numbers requested for all material received and shipped via Tech's major carriers.
  • Continually thinks of best shipping methods to meet the customers' timelines while reducing waste or extra shipping costs.
  • Distributes product throughout Tech's complex as needed.
  • Complies with and strictly adheres to company safety guidelines and/or company safety policies in performing assigned job duties.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement.

``` - Receives and effectively processes all incoming customer calls and email requests with the goal of resolving the customer's issue, answering their inquiry or routing their call with the least amount of transfers possible. - Understands all customer service policies; ensure that our customers are directed to the appropriate individuals at Tech that can address the specific customer needs or issues. - Performs customer Contact List updates within the specified timeframes communicated to our installed customer base. - Monitors assigned service queues for calls that need escalation, resolution, supervisory review and/or are ready to be dispatched and/or scheduled. - Assist Service Sales team in reviewing and approving repairs from inspection orders for all offices. - Supplies customers, technicians, and sales personnel with requested documentation including contracts, invoices, inspection reports, call lists, and pass cards. - Reviews service history for customers without an active service agreement and/or assigned account manager to ensure client engagement. - Treats each customer interaction with a sense of urgency and professionalism so as to project a competent and concerned attitude. - Ensures accurate information is entered into the database and that the database always remains current and up-to-date. - Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and managers to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement. - Continuously reviews status of work orders to ensure proper resolution time frames are met. Maintai s a detailed knowledge on Tech's services, systems, departments and personnel in order to properly support all customer requests. - Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. - Provides backup support to all functions in the region. - Provides backup support to all materials control functions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • Three years of warehouse experience utilizing computer techniques.
  • Experience with automated material transaction processing.
  • Two years' experience using computer systems, including MS Office.
