Nittany Building Specialties Inc. - Port Matilda Delivery Driver in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania
Nittany Building Specalites located in Port Matilda, PA is looking for a full-time delivery driver that typically works Monday-Friday. The hourly pay rate will vary depending on experiance and avaliblty.
Essential Duties:
- Safe and professional operations of Company vehicles. This includes but not limited to: Pick-up trucks, Vans, Various trailers, box truck when required
- Responsible for delivery of material, tools, supplies, etc. to the job locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Responsible for removal and transfer of scrap/recycling to designated sites.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintenance of tool inventory.
- Assist in the unloading of raw material. Raw material can be aluminum, steel, and glass. The material can be packaged in bulk or loose form.
- Assist in the loading of finished material and supplies onto trucks and/or trailers.
- May be required to receive delivery of material at job sites, i.e. glass deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience and/or training
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to aquire a DOT Medical Card
- Complete support of and willing adherence to Nittany's vision and core values. Applicant must hold these standards as his/her own.
Language Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
