FirstService Residential Specialist, Customer Marketing & Communications in Plantation, Florida

Job Overview:

Create and execute communications and marketing programs to inform and educate our customer base, strengthening the FirstService Residential brand, to impact the customer experience and loyalty, and contribute to customer retention.

The Customer Marketing & Communications Specialist position is a Hybrid position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute communications aimed at enhancing the relationship with the company’s customers. These can include email communications, videos, webinars, etc.
  • Create and execute educational program aimed at new board members.
  • Publish and distribute company newsletter to customer base.
  • Support property team in developing resident surveys.
  • Work with property management teams to support their communications with our customers, including property business plans.
  • Partner with property management teams on retention proposals.
  • Ideate and execute programs to enhance the company’s relationship with its customers
  • Always conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
  • May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have a BA/BS degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent work experience (minimum two years proven experience in communications, marketing, or related field).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong writer and content creator.
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Proficiency researching the Internet.
  • Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure; good time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven.
  • Forward thinking, problem solving, judgment and decision-making abilities.
