WESCO Manager – Commercial Deployment & Utilization in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

As the Manager – Commercial Deployment & Utilization, you will help lead the successful implementation of Wesco’s CRM and other front-office GTM platforms that are integrated into our enterprise Digital and Data Platform (DDP) to provide a foundation for continuous improvement of sales effectiveness and productivity. You will lead commercial deployment planning, sales enablement content development, virtual and in-person team engagements, and response and resolution of platform or process queries. You will collaborate across a matrix team that includes sales, product owners, process owners, IT, L&D, marketing and other corporate functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support smooth deployment of a growing suite of front-office Digital & Data Platform (DDP) powered products delivered through our Unified Sales Desk (USD) - including CRM, Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), revenue intelligence tools, and multi/omni-channel applications.

  • Drive adoption and utilization of front office products and corresponding sales methodologies to optimize customer facing activities and to increase sales effectiveness and productivity.

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of sales enablement materials, from content development, to packaging, to delivery and adoption.

  • Facilitate high-impact virtual and in-person interactive training sessions on a range of USD applications, providing end-users with basic technical knowledge and an understanding of how these tools can increase sales performance.

  • Provide outstanding user support, demonstrating strong USD application knowledge, responding promptly to incoming queries and demonstrating independent problem-solving capabilities.

  • Interface with Product Owners to convert complex technical information into simple digestible chunks for our front office coaches to convey.

  • Effectively communicate to multiple stakeholders, including project teams, product owners, end-users and cross functional support teams (written and verbal; one-on-one and large audiences).

  • Build and develop high performing, engaged commercial deployment and/or utilization teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree – Business Administration, Marketing

  • 7+ years of training, sales, marketing and/or related commercial experience

  • 3-5 years managing a high performing team

  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment, managing multiple priorities

  • Ability to consult with all levels of management to determine viable solutions to problems in a corporate environment

  • Understanding of traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, virtual or face- to-face classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)

  • Experience with GTM tools such as CRM, Order Entry and Quoting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related commercial technologies (CRM, pricing and quoting, etc.)

  • Ability to use problem-solving skills to address challenges and propose solutions when launching new GTM tools

  • Superior attention to detail and excellent project management skills

  • Excellent communicator, both oral and written

  • Ability to build strong relationships, ask good questions and to uncover needs through discussions

  • Ability to travel up to 25%
