ManpowerGroup Field Service Technician in New Berlin, Wisconsin

Our client, a leader in automation control systems, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of the Technical Services Department supporting our customers at their locations and through remote assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and a proactive problem-solving approach, aligning effectively with our organization.

Job Title : Field Service Technician

Location : New Berlin, WI

Pay Range: $34 - $38hr

What’s the Job?

  • Commissions supplied process control systems at customer sites.

  • Troubleshoots supplied process control systems and their interfaces at customer sites and remotely.

  • Trains customer operators and technicians on supplied systems.

  • Documents field information on technical issues, customer feedback, and enhancement requests.

  • Follows up on all open customer issues until resolution is confirmed.

  • Requires approximately 90% travel to customer sites throughout the United States, Caribbean, and Canada.

What’s Needed?

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or relevant experience in electronics technology.

  • At least three years' experience in commissioning and troubleshooting process controls preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals and instructions.

  • Familiarity with computer hardware and software applications.

  • Good working knowledge of electrical control wiring.
