Title: Solution Architect

Grade: 13

Location: Netherlands, VIRTUAL

Are you a solution architect with the agility and the creativity to collaborate with a team of engineers and solution/technical specialists to develop and implement a comprehensive technical solution and business strategy in line with the enterprise architecture, while addressing technology issues and determining the technology needed to insure customer adoption of the proposed solution?The solution architect works in a team and is responsible for technical evangelization of solution strategy our point of view and planning which best suit the customer’s needs based on the business objectives and technical requirements, with a focus across multiple segments in Retail. They will collaborate with teams of specialists responsible to develop business opportunities, build customer solution map, grow revenue, and increase customer satisfaction.If you are based in the Netherlands an If you have proven experience in a role as a solution architect with customer-facing/technical roles with 5+ years in the retail industry and exceptional customer-focus and bias for action, we want to talk to you.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed HBO or WO education with a specialization in software engineering, computer science

• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language (writing and speaking)

• You have a broad knowledge of infrastructure, hardware, cloud, and hosting;

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in the retail industry;

• You have at least knowledge of Routing and Switching, Microsoft technology (including Intune, Windows, Office, Azure), Linux (Debian), Android (for ruggedized devices), iOS (iPad), MDM solutions (Airwatch). Knowledge of IT standards & controls and of security and privacy concepts. Knowledge and experience with complex environments. Knowledge and experience with network hardware and monitoring software. Knowledge and experience with mobile device management products;

• Experience in setting up and maintaining solution architectures;

• Knowledge of ITIL, DevOPS and Scrum

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You show that you have good communication skills and that you also attune this to the stakeholders at different levels;

• You are good at packaging your vision and solutions in a story;

• You have the skills to give presentations and facilitate workshops;

• Experience with working by means of Agile/Scrum;

• Knowledge of modern Cloud Infrastructure concepts (Kubernetes, Microservices, Docker)

• You are sensitive, communicative and politically strong and you have good coaching skills;

• You follow the technical developments closely;

• You are enthusiastic, creative, enjoy socializing and like to develop high-quality infrastructural and/or hardware solutions.

• Preferred experience in the retail technology Industry
