Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Electrical Section for Civil Engineering to include the electric shop, power production, alarms, and HVAC shop.

  • Participate in the communication and execution of a robust and vital safety program.

  • Skill in reading, interpreting, and applying applicable reference material such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, to accomplish tasks and resolve complex problems and/or deviations from normal management procedures or program requirements.

  • Efficiently manage and prioritize work schedules to ensure compliance with time and quality requirements.

  • Open, coordinate and manage work tasks utilizing established tools and processes.

  • Monitor and facilitate the pursuit of opportunities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and strategic prioritization.

  • Provide updates to Civil Engineer leadership concerning work tasks and project development to facilitate decision-making processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizen.

  • Associate degree in a related field required.

  • Shall have ten years' experience (5 of those 10 in supervision) in operation, maintenance, repair of power production, electrical distribution, and aircraft arresting system.

  • Shall have knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

  • Proficiency in Air Force Civil Engineering work management operation system.

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AFMAN 32-1040, 32-1062, and 32-1065.

  • Working knowledge of NEXGEN and Builder
