Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Technician C you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Space business while working closely with the engineering team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing electrical test of CCA's and system level units.

Essential Functions:

• Perform Acceptance Tests on various products.• Assemble Acceptance Data Packages for various Space products.• Understand and follow appropriate test equipment / safety procedures. • Maintain product configuration information in appropriate documents. • Support the troubleshooting and rework/repair systems and/or their subassemblies. • Maintain troubleshooting documentation in appropriate process / product documents. • Support completion of assembly operations to meet delivery expectations. • Identify ways to improve current production processes and communicate ideas with appropriate personnel. • Maintain status of units being processed.

Qualifications:

• Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.• Minimum of 5 years of work experience with electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, thermal chambers, etc.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting down to the component level is desired; solid understanding and working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, thermal chambers, etc. • Analog and digital troubleshooting skills are a plus. • Experience with environmental testing is a plus.• Basic computer skills including familiarity with Excel. • Strong written and interpersonal skills, such as communicating well with customers, management, as well as other disciplines in the organization. • Strong planning/organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments. • Ability to work individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
