JOB REQUIREMENTS: Hospital Development Specialist Transplant Services Building - 31736 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM with occasional nights and weekends and hours outside of business hours. Occasional early mornings, late evenings and night travel required. Established in 1966, UW Organ and Tissue Donation is widely recognized as one of the most effective organ procurement programs in the nation . We are seeking a Hospital Development Specialist to: * Establish and build strong relationships with hospital partners and create a culture of donation. * Support partner hospitals in maintaining regulatory compliance related to organ and tissue donation. * Provide education, strategic planning and debriefing opportunities for hospital partners. * Develop outreach materials and effective communication strategies to share the importance of organ and tissue donation. * Utilize quality improvement tools and data to implement process improvements. * Position includes moderate in-state travel (up to 50%).
