Randstad's top tier staffing agency has a new 3rd shift Team Lead opening in the East Knoxville area! This role does require recent Team Lead experience to be considered! This role could be Temp to Hire or Direct Hire and would work Monday-Thursday 8pm-6:30am with occasional work on Fridays. Pay would depend on experience $20-25/hr. Responsibilities
Provides support to the Production Supervisor in the Tea/Instant Coffee/ Flour department
Assists supervisor with training of new employees
Assists supervisor with developing strategies to improve production and reduce downtime
Ensure employees are maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation and assists with product change overs.
Ensures employees are accurately completing all quality, traceability, and production paperwork.
Utilizes Digital Production System to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions.
Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.
Ensure all employees are following all safety/ GMP procedures and policies
Any other duties assigned by management
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 30lbs
