Description

We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to assist on a project for a client in the gaming industry. The Accounting Manager will primarily assist with the Revenue Accounting team in specific to Slots, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, leading the operations team, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize accuracy & efficiency. The Accounting Manager must have worked in the Gaming Industry, specific to Slots, and be capable of working onsite. This is a contract opportunity with the possibility of long-term permanent placement for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Auditorially manage daily casino revenue, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all transactions.

  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proper utilization of the IGT system across all levels of the casino's operations.

  • Perform regular slot machine revenue audits to ensure compliance with the set regulatory standards and generate detailed reports of the same.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and provide training to staff members regarding the systems and related auditing procedures.

  • Manage the preparation of financial reports and coordinate year-end audits.

  • Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures to direct the operation of slot auditing.

  • Assess the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the internal controls and propose improvements.

  • Coordinate responses to regulatory audits inquiries.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of reports to the gaming commission.

  • Guarantee the casino is up to date with changes in gaming regulations and informing the team of any necessary changes to internal policies.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.

  • A minimum of 4years' experience in casino accounting with a particular focus on slot auditing.

  • Strong accounting knowledge, including experience with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal gaming regulations.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism.

  • A high level of integrity and reliability.
