Robert Half Jr. Systems Administrator in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Description

We are in search of a diligent and proactive Junior Systems Administrator to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role is primarily focused on providing critical technical support for our network infrastructure and user base. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to apply their skills in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience

• Configure and maintain network devices, adhering to industry best practices and security protocols

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of TCP/IP and Layer 2/3 networking concepts

• Provide support for Microsoft Windows Server environments, including user management, Active Directory, and routine maintenance tasks

• Troubleshoot and maintain desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software issues

• Assist with general IT support tasks such as user account management and software installation

• Leverage expertise in Microsoft Server, MS SQL Server, and Microsoft SQL Server

• Utilize skills in TCP/IP, Basic Network Troubleshooting, Network Technologies, and Network Troubleshooting

• Apply knowledge of Layer 3 Switches, Comptia A+, Comptia Network+, and Network Protocols

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Server, MS SQL Server, and Microsoft SQL Server is a must for this role.

• Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP and Network Protocols is expected.

• The candidate should have practical experience in Basic Network Troubleshooting and Network Troubleshooting.

• Understanding and experience with Network Technologies and Layer 3 Switches are required.

• The applicant should hold Comptia A+ and Comptia Network+ certifications.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are required.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are expected.

• The candidate should have a commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
