Job Description Supply Chain Analyst 4730 N Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987 HEADP Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Supply Chain Analyst, you will be a strategic link between the Supply Chain Data Team, the Supply Chain Department, and the rest of the company by impacting how Fastenal manages product flow both domestically and internationally. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Analyzing data and communicating the results clearly o Compiling, structuring and analyzing data to support business needs o Collaborating with various departments o Design implementation and support of various projects o General prioritization of projects o Key understanding of business objectives within supply chain o Analyzing and deriving meaningful summaries from large data sets REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Prior administrative, customer service, or industry experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Possess or are working towards a degree in one of the following areas: Math, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Business Administration, or a related Business field o Database management experience o Advanced knowledge of excel o Experience working with software like Tableau, Power BI, R, or Smartsheets ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
