The Senior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for data collection, report creation, and results analysis used in the inventory control and replenishment process. This position analyzes inventory data, forecasts demand, and collaborates with various departments to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient supply chain operations. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst plays an integral part in strategic initiatives to improve inventory forecast accuracy and evaluation of actual performance to plan.

  • Analyze a complex flow of material at 3 or more receiving sites, shipping to 4 service centers and 50 stocking reps on a potential 60K sku’s.

  • Understand the MRP loops associated with the above flow of material and implications of changes in the flow of material in relation to Customer Lead times, order sourcing strategy, and preferred route of material from Vendor to the customer.

  • Analyze BOM/kit usage of material as relates to proper minmax/safety stock levels.

  • Develop a strategy in order source that allows us to influence where orders ship from.

  • Provide timely and accurate response to demand and forecast related inquiries from all areas of the organization, including day-to-day resolution of critical issues affecting Supply Chain.

  • Assist with analysis of supplier performance trends to improve on time delivery.

  • Help with development and implementation of a supplier portal bringing together supplier shipment and logistics information.

  • Collaborate on procurement strategies to align with inventory goals.

  • Develop critical planning tools, key reports, and provide analytical support to Senior Leadership to make decisions, develop and execute key initiatives, and project short term and long-term performance.

  • Complete special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics or a related field

  • Inventory Management certification a plus (APICS / ISM)

  • 5+ years of experience in planning / forecasting / supply chain

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning)

  • Strong skillset to lead and facilitate meetings with a diverse audience, quickly synthesizing information to help drive consensus and actionable items

  • Working knowledge of demand planning / forecasting / inventory management software

  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Experience developing online dashboards and workflows on SharePoint applications a plus

  • Experience analyzing and developing reports in Tableau highly desirable

  • Ability to prioritize workload and maintain accuracy in all work while managing multiple tasks / projects with adherence to critical deadlines

  • Drive to find the best solutions, incorporating innovation and efficiency improvements where feasible
