Century Site Services LLC Landscape Crew Leader in Englewood, Colorado
Century Site Services LLC is looking to fill multiple permanent, full-time Landscape Crew Leader positions.
Begin/report to work: 2045 W Union Ave, Unit D, Englewood, Arapahoe County, CO 80110. Employer will transport workers daily between report to work address and additional worksites.
Additional worksites: (work throughout the following counties/areas): Adams, CO, Arapahoe, CO, Broomfield, CO, Denver, CO, Douglas, CO, Jefferson, CO, Weld, CO, and areas of Denver-Aurora-Lakewood, CO, Greeley, CO.
Duties: Operate vehicles or powered equipment to care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, or trimming. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge or brush trimmers. Rake, mulch, and compost leaves. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, or other grounds features. Gather and remove litter and debris. Use hand tools, powered equipment, or vehicles to remove snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots, and spread salt in those areas. Schedule work for crews, depending on work priorities, crew or equipment availability, or weather conditions. Monitor project activities to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained. Enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety. Assist in the maintenance or repair of equipment, such as power tools or motorized equipment & other related Landscape Crew Leader activities as per SOC/OES 37-1012 (onetonline.org). Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable
Terms: Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State and local employment-related laws and regulations such as wages, breaks, hours worked, and overtime hours (overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. If overtime is worked, wage is paid at 1.5x regular rate of pay per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week.).
Requirements: Must be 18 due to equipment use. Perform physical activities such as: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 80lbs (possible 2-person). Must have 24 months Landscape experience. No minimum education requirement.
Wages & Conditions of Employment: $60,278.00/Year.
Possible offered daily/weekly hours: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-5:00PM. 40+ (plus); not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work.
