JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to procure, track and move materials, PPE and tools in support of the facilities or engineering teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, logs and promptly distributes all supplies within the facility/campus, as well as reviews and maintains all Min/Max levels and purchase order processing for the department.
Conducts physical inventories of all satellite storeroom locations.
Daily updating of inventory database including cycle counts, Min/Max levels, updating all fields of inventory database.
Provides reports on open and received purchase orders and verifies status with the appropriate supplier.
Maintains files on work orders, purchase orders, proposals, and department files.
Provides input to management and interfaces with planner/schedulers to reschedule orders in case of specification changes and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates degree is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in storeroom operations directly related to building maintenance.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Valid driver's license, if driving required in conjunction with job duties. Forklift license required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient Excel and Access skills required. Familiarity with work order systems such as Maximo and Service Insight 7 preferred. Familiarity with purchase order systems such as JDE preferred.
Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The salary range is $30 - $34 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
