Job Summary
The Sr. Contract and Sourcing Analyst reports into the Supply Chain organization and is responsible for managing external expenditures across all categories as assigned. This role will be responsible for contract negotiation and proactively making recommendations on category strategies, and potential suppliers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
As assigned, lead RFx process for medium to large size initiatives, which includes but is not limited to sourcing event creation, supplier communication, document creation and distribution, decision/evaluation criteria, response analysis, negotiation analysis, and supplier selection
Manage contract lifecycle in partnership with Category Leads to develop a plan and execute Master Agreement Renewals
Manage expiring contracts and supplier agreements including contract renewals, negotiation of terms, issue identification, tracking and resolution
Negotiate material and services contracts withincreased complexity, including prices, delivery timelines, and shipping methods
Manage price updates and data integrity for contract rate sheets
Partner withCategory Leads and the business to develop and execute Request for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluate competitive bids
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements for procurement lifecycle
Build partnerships with business stakeholders through effective communication and execution.
Engage internal stakeholders to gather the required information about documentation of procurement activities below current threshold for active category management rigor
Execute on policies and procedures to mitigate risks including but not limited to cyber on contracts/activities
Research and identify suppliers that fit sourcing requirements and solicit bids
Provide insights on the benefits and drawbacks of different supplier options
Works independently with limited supervision
Required Qualifications for Position
Bachelor’s Degree or three to fiveyears experience in supply chain, procurement and/or sourcing
Strong financial and business acumen
Ability to analyze information and provide insight and recommendations
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Ability to internalize new information and become a SME (subject matter expert)
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to effectively prioritize while frequently multi-tasking
Preferred Qualifications for Position
College degree in Supply Chain or Procurement
Contracting or Paralegal experience
Utility Industry experience

Salary Range:
$73,400.00 - $110,100.00
