Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description We are extending an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in the banking industry, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is primarily focused on providing technical support to our internal teams. As a Help Desk Analyst, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining our internal database, and providing top-notch service to our colleagues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

• Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.

• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.

• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.

• Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.

• Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem and walk the customer through the problem-solving process.

• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.

• Clean up computers and run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.

• Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.

• Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.

• Gain feedback from customers about computer usage. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Active Directory management.

• Solid understanding of computer hardware and desktop hardware.

• Demonstrable skills in Deskside Support.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

• Willingness to stay updated with system information, changes, and updates.

• Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
