Sea Foam International, Inc. VP - Product Innovation and Development in Chaska, Minnesota

Reports to: CEO/President of Sea Foam Sales Company Summary: The Vice President of Product Innovation and Development, part of our growing Sea Foam Enterprises (SFE) team, will support SFEs efforts in developing, implementing, and advancing the strategy, experience, voice, campaigns, and capabilities of new product lines. The VP of PID will oversee the identified products full lifecycle from start to finish including market research, developing new categories and products, working with Marketing to create branding strategy, content, etc. and preparing products for launch. Responsibilities: - Quarterback product roadmap and develop and implement a product strategy that aligns with the company's Core Focus, Marketing Strategy, goals, and market trends in a manner that stakeholders are engaged, and key product decisions are well thought-out and communicated. - Work closely with the entire leadership team to define, refine and improve the product vision and value proposition. - Lead all mechanical, chemical, and consumer testing to support claim substantiation for new product launches as well as existing products, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met for marketing and educational usage. - Lead the process and team in all Product Reviews and Product Plans. - Understand competitive landscape, stay abreast of key trends, conduct competitive audits and participate in market research to assist with decision making. - Manage and direct creation of product development materials; providing feedback to meet company standards for excellency. - Work with team to confirm and maintain brand consistency amongst all the different divisions. - Develop, monitor and implement budgets on a consistent basis. Ensure that resources are allocated appropriately. - Implement tools to organize and optimize workflows. - Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer, vendor, employee and partnership touch points align with brand strategy and support messaging priorities. - See products through all stages of the product lifecycle including but not limited to creating, designing, producing and growing all products and brands. - Hunt, identify and drive new opportunities beyond the opportunities currently in place. - Help maximize the enterprise value of Sea Foam Enterprises.

Attributes and Skills: - High energy, positive attitude, team player that is respectful, passionate about what they do, and has uncompromising integrity. - Startup experience preferred; entrepreneurial spirit a must. - Detail oriented with excellent organization skills. - Excellent peer collaboration and team building skills. - Oversee and/or write the requirements for all new product features and enhancements to all products. -Develop effective and informative feedback loops through various departments within the organization. -We heavily leverage technology in our work environment; candidate must have moderate to advanced computer skills and an aptitude to learn new systems. Must be able to adapt to our unique computer system, apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite programs, Smartsheet, as well as other technical tools in completing assignments. - Bachelors degree or greater in product design, business administration, engineering or a related field. - 5 - 10+ years of leading product development/strategy with a proven track record of business growth. - 5+ years B2B and B2C marketing; Experience in automotive aftermarket is a plus - Highly analytical, strategic thinker and data-driven - Direct report management experience is required. Proven ability to lead, direct and motivate a team to achieve their potential. - Experience growing a brand/company from early-stage to strong market presence and significant revenue is a plus. - Proven ability to collaborate with all levels within the organization as a tactical and strategic partner, coach and advisor. - Requires excellent interpersonal presentation, and communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand. - Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the target audience. Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. - Ambitious, driven, persistent and confident in own ability to achieve targets. - Excellent organizational and project management skills, demonstrated problem solving skills, strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a high volume environment.
