Aerotek CNC Machine Operator in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Hiring CNC Operators In Cedar Rapids

All Shifts Available

Pay Based On Experience

Paid Weekly, Benefits Offered Right Away

Job Duties:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills and lathes

  • Write and adjust programs

  • Troubleshoot and respond to breakdowns, perform basic mechanical repairs as needed

  • Perform quality control and report problems to supervisor

  • Load and unload parts, material handling duties

  • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

  • Comply with all safety and health regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation

  • Previous machine operating experience

  • Can read a tape measure, use calipers and micrometers

  • Detail-oriented

  • Basic math skills

  • Physical requirements: lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand for long periods of time

  • Blueprint reading

  • Able to operate a forklift, overhead crane, or hoists
