Position: Medical Director Anesthesia
Responsibilities
Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.
Develop a unified culture supporting our CREATE values among anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists regarding practice style, clinical and operational objectives for the department.
Assure regular department meetings to discuss clinical and operational elements of the program as well as overarching perioperative program issues.
Manage staffing assignment schedules at 2 campus locations working collaboratively with the Lead CNRA
Knowledge of hospital-based physician services.
Knowledge of multidisciplinary team development.
Knowledge of governmental regulations, rules and compliance requirements related to clinical practice.
Displays consistent behavior that enhances the public image of the organization as evidenced by professionalism, interaction with peers, customers, vendors, etc.
Completes periodic, but at least annual, reviews of individual Anesthesia providers, and takes actions as necessary based on the reviews.
Ability to use various computer systems and applications.
Ability to plan, organize and supervise.
Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving techniques in the decision-making process.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public.
Ability to communicate clearly.
