Amazon Senior Vendor Manager, Home Improvement in Austin, Texas

Description

Amazon is in search of a passionate, results-driven, and team-oriented leader to manage a major product category within our Home Improvement business. You will be the P&L owner for this product category and with responsibility for generating growth, expanding selection, managing key partner relationships , driving operational improvements, and partnering with internal teams to launch innovative new customer experiences.

The successful candidate will excel at building trust and strengthening relationships with top executives at the biggest brands in the industry, delivering results through negotiations, business development, marketing and promotional planning, and operational improvements.

You should be motivated by growth in a dynamic environment focused on our customers. Success in this role requires excellent verbal and written communication, ability to draw metric-based conclusions from extensive amounts of data, and ability to partner cross-functionally with internal marketing, finance, tech, and supply chain teams to achieve results.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration

  • Experience using data to influence business decisions

  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management

  • 5+ years of with Excel experience

  • Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

  • MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
