Job Overview

This position is located within the Clinical Effectiveness Department and is responsible for leading quality improvement projects to decrease health disparities and improve health equity at Children's Hospital Colorado. The position partners closely with the Division of Diversity, Health Equity and Inclusion (DHE&I), the Division of Quality, the Analytics Resource Center, and other internal and community groups to design, implement, and measure improvement initiatives that advance the organization's health equity priorities. Candidates should be experienced process improvement leaders with demonstrated expertise in process improvement, meeting facilitation, project management, and change management. Experience leading projects to improve health equity or addressing health-related social needs, Lean/Six Sigma or other quality improvement training/certifications, and experience in a hospital setting are strongly pref The Senior Management Analyst performs professional level work in the principles, practices, methods, and techniques of management analysis. They formulate, drive and lead projects using process improvement methodologies, project management strategies, leadership, and change management skills to achieve improvements in either operational or clinical outcomes. They work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to strategize, develop and achieve goals, lead teams in the use of improvement techniques and methodologies, and transfers process improvement knowledge and skills to teams in the course of project execution. In addition, the Senior Management Analyst mentors, coaches, and collaborates with management to direct and coordinate team members.

Qualifications

EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Management, Nursing, or a related field. EXPERIENCE -Five (5) years of professional experience i administrative, management, and operational analysis work. PREFERRED - Experience leading projects to improve health equity or addressing health-related social needs is strongly preferred. o Lean/Six Sigma or other quality improvement training/certifications is strongly preferred. o Experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred. EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, one year of related professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education..
