Kanaan Communications, LLC Project Coordinator in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Overview and Essential Functions

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We're looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team and help connect America. As a Project Coordinator you will coordinate all project related operations to ensure project completion in accordance with customer and industry specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work directly for the Construction Supervisor.

  • You will coordinate CATV projects to ensure that all operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.

  • You will schedule walkouts with property owners to evaluate job specifications.

  • You will coordinate construction efforts with the Construction Supervisor for project completion by predetermined deadlines including site access.

  • You will prepare a statement of work.

  • You will build a job packet including photos, maps and supporting documentation.

  • You will requisition materials needed for the construction operations.

  • You will prepare a line item cost estimate.

  • You will resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are assigned.

  • You will complete and maintain accurate \"As­Built Maps\" for areas built to submit to the Supervisor.

  • You will be willing to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

  • You have a valid driver’s license (Class \"C\").

  • You are capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in delivering outside plant telecommunications services or utility industry project coordination.

  • You have basic computer and Microsoft Office experience including experience utilizing digital calendars.

  • You have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance but also must be a team player and collaborate on other projects as needed.

  • You have solid decision making/problem solving skills.

  • You have the ability to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift which includes, standing - 2 to 4 hours daily, bending/stooping - 2 to 4 hours daily, walking - 2 to 4 hours daily, and driving throughout shift.
